I’ve always been an avid reader. I used to sneak and read romance novels (historic and contemporary harlequins) during class in middle and high school. Do you now how embarrassing it was to get caught reading “Loved by a Scotsman” at my desk in 6th grade? Thinking back on it now, it’s hilarious. I dabbled in writing at that time as well but put it all away in high school and college. The sad part is I stopped recreational reading after college. For some odd reason, I thought responsible adults didn’t have time for frivolous stuff like that. After a 19 year career in marketing and graphic design, having two awesome boys, and starting a thriving romance travel agency, the reading itch came back with a vengeance and bought along with it a new creative desire. I truly needed an outlet. So I decided to embark on a new creative journey and writing was perfect start. “Bobby the Bobolink Helps To Rescue His Proud Friend” is the first book in the “Shared Values Collection. I have co-founded Chardan Media Publishing with my mother, Dorothy Tinsley. I have several other books coming out starting with Romantic Getaways: How to Keep the Spark Alive. I have a lot to share with you!
